KENTA debuted in 2000 and became a cornerstone of NOAH's "Golden Era," capturing both the GHC Junior and Heavyweight titles. In 2014, he moved to WWE as Hideo Itami, later returning to Japan in 2019 to join NJPW as a prominent member of BULLET CLUB. In January 2025, KENTA officially rejoined NOAH. He formed a powerful alliance with Kenoh, and in July, he defeated Kenoh to capture the GHC Heavyweight Championship for the first time in 11.5 years. Although he lost the title later that year to the returning Yoshiki Inamura, he remained a central figure by forming a new elite unit in November alongside Uruka Sasaki, Tetsuya Endo, and HAYATA. Known as the "rebellious striker," KENTA continues to dominate the landscape with his lethal kicks and uncompromising attitude, proving that his defiant spirit remains as sharp as ever.
