After making his debut as the "younger brother" of Muscle Sakai, this "People's Battle Doll" became a massive breakout star thanks to his superhuman, agile, and acrobatic movements. In many ways, he is an iconic symbol of DDT Pro-Wrestling and is a frequent fixture at various promotional events. His two KO-D Openweight Championship matches against Kota Ibushi (October 25, 2009, at Korakuen and March 21, 2015, in Kasukabe) have become legendary. In June 2020, despite the travel restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, he completed his first solo excursion to the United States. In September 2025, he challenged Kazuki Hirata for the KO-D Openweight title but narrowly lost. Following that match, due to accumulated damage and age-related wear and tear, he took a hiatus for a complete overhaul. He successfully made his return at the Korakuen Hall event in January 2026.
