Debuting in 2001 as a member of the 8th class of Toryumon, he has since been a star in promotions like DRAGON GATE, All Japan Pro Wrestling, and WRESTLE-1. He has also made numerous appearances in NOAH and has held the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship as its 25th titleholder. Despite being a junior heavyweight, he is known for his powerful fighting style, which has earned him the nickname "King Kong." Since 2022, he has been a key member of the Kongo unit in Pro Wrestling NOAH, establishing himself as a central figure in the junior heavyweight division. In 2023, he and Eita won the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. As champion, he demonstrated his strength by defeating tough teams like HAYATA and YO-HEY. Also in 2023, his mentor-student relationship with Junta Miyawaki gained attention, particularly his strict guidance to Miyawaki after matches, where he would repeatedly instruct him, “Never give up.” With his vast experience and solid skills, he continues to lead the NOAH junior division into 2024 and beyond. Additionally, the financiers he produces are highly acclaimed for their delicious taste and are sometimes sold at venue merchandise booths.
