Jun Akiyama

Recruited by Giant Baba, he joined All Japan Pro Wrestling in 1992. After moving to Pro Wrestling NOAH, he won numerous titles, including the Triple Crown Heavyweight, World Tag Team, GHC Heavyweight, and GHC Tag Team championships. He returned to All Japan Pro Wrestling in 2013. At the request of Sanshiro Takagi, he became a guest coach for DDT Pro-Wrestling in May 2020 and was officially transferred on loan on July 1. He then formed the unit Junretsu with Makoto Oishi, Mizuki Watase, and Hideki Okatani. On February 15, 2021, he officially became a contracted DDT wrestler and was announced as the new head coach. In 2021, he joined the new BURNING unit, led by Tetsuya Endo, as a strategist, but he left the unit in December 2023. He is currently active in the unit D.O.A. with Makoto Oishi and Danshoku Dino.
