Naomichi Marufuji

He debuted in All Japan Pro Wrestling in 1998 and was a founding member of Pro-Wrestling NOAH in 2000. He is the first wrestler to achieve the GHC Grand Slam, having won all major GHC titles (Junior Heavyweight, Junior Tag, Tag, and Heavyweight). Known as the "Genius of the Ark," his innovative style has long made him a central figure in the promotion. In 2020, while serving as NOAH's Vice President under CyberAgent management, he formed the unit "M’s alliance" and later captured the GHC Tag Team Championship with Keiji Muto in 2021. The popular “MaruKEN” tag team with KENTA was temporarily reunited at the Nippon Budokan event on January 1, 2022. In September 2023, he celebrated his 25th Anniversary show, competing fiercely against top international star Will Ospreay. In 2024, he defeated Kota Ibushi and won the GHC Tag Team Championship (his 4th reign) with Takashi Sugiura in June. Marking NOAH's 25th Anniversary in 2025, he challenged KENTA for the GHC Heavyweight Championship at the commemorative Korakuen Hall show, realizing their first singles match in seven years. Later that year, he returned to the "N-1 VICTORY" after a five-year absence and also forged an unexpected, successful partnership with Kenoh, making them key players in the tag team scene. Even after 25 years, Marufuji continues to evolve and remains a singular presence, leading the promotion through the quality of his matches and his influence.
